Rumored iPhone 17 Air Feature: Exciting New Sky Blue Color Option Unveiled

The upcoming iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be available in a light blue color option, which could cleverly tie into the model’s ultra-thin design. Every new iPhone generation typically introduces a unique color that defines its lineup for the year, and for the iPhone 17 series, this shade may be a sky blue. According to a suggestion by a serial leaker, Fixed Focus Digital, on Weibo, light blue is projected to be the primary hue for the iPhone 17 Air.

The leaker indicated that this blue would be very light, distinguishing itself from previously used shades. However, it remains unclear whether this blue will be lighter than the Sierra Blue featured in the iPhone 13 Pro. The leaker mentioned that the color’s subtlety might make it hard to distinguish from a white iPhone in low-light conditions.

Fixed Focus Digital has had mixed accuracy in previous leaks, often diverging from more reputable sources. Nevertheless, they have made correct predictions in the past, including details about the iPhone 16e. Speculation about a light blue option for the iPhone 17 Air is not new; earlier in April, another leaker, Majin Bu, hinted at a color dubbed “YuangFeng Blue” or Sky Blue, reminiscent of hues available for the M4 MacBook Air and M3 iPad Air.

While a light blue iPhone 17 Air is anticipated to be a standout feature, it isn’t the only color under consideration. Majin Bu’s April leak also mentioned that dark purple and green shades were undergoing testing for the Pro models, with Sky Blue emerging as a leading contender. In June, Bu revealed that the iPhone 17 base model was being evaluated in purple and green, with one expected to be finalized for launch, potentially favoring purple.

With varying sources for these leaks, it’s advisable to approach these claims cautiously until more concrete evidence arises.
