Apple Music Week: Countdown of Top 500 Songs with Exclusive Shows and Events

As Apple Music celebrates its tenth anniversary, the streaming service is marking the occasion with a week of special programming. This celebration includes a countdown of its top streaming tracks and the release of documentaries that delve into the platform’s journey since its inception. Launched on June 30, 2015, Apple Music has continuously provided a diverse array of content, from radio shows to live performances at significant events like the Super Bowl. In conjunction with the opening of a new studio in Los Angeles for musicians, Apple announced several programs to celebrate the anniversary of the service.

The festivities kick off with a program called “Don’t Be Boring: The Birth of Apple Music Radio” featuring Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden. It is set to stream live on June 30, 2025, from 6 A.M. to 8 A.M. Pacific time. This will be followed by an extensive eight-hour special titled “10 Years of Apple Music,” which will weave together music and documentaries that highlight key artist moments, exclusive releases, live events, and cultural milestones that have defined the platform. The day will culminate in “Live: 10 Years of Apple Music,” a three-hour live show hosted by Lowe and Darden, featuring artists who have significantly influenced the service’s development.

After the anniversary celebration, Apple Music will host a special four-day event called “10 Years of Apple Music: Top Songs.” This event will unveil the 500 most-streamed songs on the platform, revealing 100 songs each day from July 1 to July 5, 2025. Additionally, Apple has unveiled a new “All Time Replay” playlist for all users, showcasing their most-played songs since the service began. This initiative aims to enhance the personal connection users have with Apple Music during this milestone celebration.
